Texas milkweed from central Texas. Asclepias texana seed packet. Unknown amount of seed per packet.
This plant grows in shale soil from a 50 million year old sea floor that in now the hills near Salina Utah. Each 4th of July the seeds burst from the pod and some are collected.

"Used the water method to germinate. Put the seeds in water on a heat mat. After sprouting planted in pots. Germination was greater than 50%. Under lights now. Looking forward to planting outside in a few weeks."
